Biography
Kaufman earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester in 1995 and a master's degree from the University of Colorado in 2005. Her career experience includes working as a strategic planner.[1]

I am deeply committed to my community, investing my strategic planning expertise as an Environmental Commissioner, Chair of the Tewksbury Parks Committee, founding member of the Tewksbury Green Team and Ad-Hoc Committee on Stormwater Management. Board Development Chair for the Tewksbury Education Foundation and former Board member of Whittemore.
- INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS: We need infrastructure improvements and modernization now. We will create a REGIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE RESILIENCY PLAN that meets the unique needs of our District. Solutions focused on fixing our roads, modernizing digital connectivity, growing our mass transit network, improving recreational amenities and hardening our power infrastructure.
- CLIMATE RESILIENCY: New Jersey is warming faster than any other state in our Nation. Our District needs effective leadership on climate issues to preserve and protect the quality of our land, air and water resouces. We will fight to INCENTIVIZE PRESERVATION and conservation, fighting back against industrializing our farms, logging our public forests and the taking of our land for pipeline projects.
- TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION: We will streamline governmental processes from small business licensing to permitting to the DMV. Our mission is to ACCELERATE RESPONSE TIMELINES and ease pathways for businesses and citizens, saving time and money.
Incentivizing preservation and adaptive re-use of developed lands, the challenges associated with building on already developed sites makes it more cost effective to develop on "raw land." We need to change that paradigm. Additionally, we need to incentivize the preservation of land, as the highest and best use for the ability of our state and nation to thrive for generations.
Women's Reproductive Health: A woman's body belongs to her and to no one else. A woman's right to choose what she does with her body is a non-negotiable position for me. I defer to the 14th Amendment:
