I was born to Trinidadian immigrants in New York City. I was raised there and went to school there. I did two years of medical school (basic sciences) at an offshore school in Saint Lucia and I plan on finishing my degree. In my spare time, I have volunteered for different organizations/nonprofits.
  • Look at my stance on the issues and judge me from that.
  • Im here to stand up for residents who want to see change.
  • People keep asking me why I decided to run against the incumbent. They're like "what were you thinking?" My response: What's the big deal? That doesn't terrify or impress me. I'm here to get elected so I can write legislation to better the residents of this district and state. Give someone new and different a chance.
Taxes/cost of living : car tax/property tax

Business/Government Corruption

Human/Drug Trafficking

Guns Rights

Lowering Crime rate

Against climate change initiative mandates and mask mandates: ppl like their freedom and options. Don't take it away from them.

There should be more electric vehicle charging stations: residents are concerned

Zoning ordinances and what it means for residential areas/single family houses.#overcrowding

Want a balance between big and small businesses

Environmentalists are pushing the use of alternative energy sources; I'm worried about the pollution some of these sources will leak

Rights for the disabled and/or elderly

Lower costs of commonly used but expensive prescription meds

There's so many. Idk if I mentioned them all.

To honor the residents in their district by passing bills that pose effective solutions to their fears and concerns. To be easy to talk to, a good listener, to be just/fair, to be responsible and transparent, to not abuse the position if elected, etc
That I helped make District 11 better by standing up for it's residents and their concerns. I'd like to actually accomplish something, not just get my campaign platform out there. It's not enough to just talk and not get anything done. #Talk is cheap
To Kill a Mockingbird

It's about growing up and recognizing the reality around you.
Atticus Finch or Achilles, there's a good amount of heros/heroines out there.
It's separate. The HOD is there to represent their constituents.
Environmentalism, interference from foreign powers, illegal immigrants
In a way yes. Not too close though. It's ok to be professional and respectful with other legislators but that's about it.
Sometimes. Not always. Really depends on the issue.
