Frederick F. Mumm was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He was appointed to the court on April 3, 2006.[1]

Biography

Education

Judge Mumm received his B.S. degree from the University of Virginia in 1976 and his J.D. degree from the College of William and Mary in 1979.[1]

Career

Judge Mumm worked as a partner of the firm Walater, Finestone & Richter. From 1993 to 1999, he worked as Associate General Counsel for CBS Broadcasting Inc. He then partnered with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Los Angeles until he became a judge in 2006.[1][2]
