I have lived with my family in House District 32 for more than 10 years where I'm a long-time volunteer in our community, schools, and church.

I am a moderate with a track record of listening and have a reputation in the House for being effective, reasonable, and hard-working. As a medical doctor, I also bring a skillset that is right for this moment. Together, we will recover from the health and economic impacts of COVID-19.

As a fiscal conservative, I am committed to making sure every taxpayer dollar is spent transparently and responsibly. That's why I opposed the flawed tax bill that raised taxes on food and fought against wasteful spending during the COVID pandemic.

I run common-ground bills with Republican co-sponsors focused on reducing healthcare costs, supporting education, and cleaning our air.

Serving the people of Sandy, Draper, and White City has been one of the great honors of my life. The future of our state depends on elected officials that will fight to preserve what makes Utah great, while also working with to make Utah even better. I remain focused on our future and I'm asking for your vote.

  • As a medical doctor, I have a skillset that is right for this moment. I bring expertise to the Capitol and fight every day to make sure our community is healthy and safe.
  • I am committed to making sure every taxpayer dollar is spent transparently and responsibly. I'm a fiscal conservative. That's why I opposed the flawed tax bill that raised taxes on food and fought against wasteful spending during the COVID pandemic.
  • Our kids are the best and most important investment we can make. That's why I've fought for more funding and additional resources to address needs.

My primary responsibility as your Representative is to listen to you. Legislators should focus their work on constituents' interests, NOT special interests.
I believe it is important to build relationships with other legislators-especially with colleagues across the aisle. That's why I always seek a Republican for all my legislation. I believe we all want the best for our community, so by building these strong relationships and focusing on common ground issues, we are able to get things done for everyday Utahns.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Utah

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
