Campaign themes

2015

Hedges' website highlighted the following campaign themes:

CREATING A JOB-READY, EDUCATED WORKFORCE: Chuck will fight for our fair share of education funding, just like Fairfax and Arlington, so businesses can have an educated and job-ready workforce.

GROWING JOBS AND PROVIDING TOOLS FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH: Education, transportation, and information technology infrastructure are the keys to job growth and economic vitality. Chuck will work to bring good paying jobs to our communities and give Virginia businesses the first crack at state contracts.

REDUCING TOLLS AND PROTECTING OUR ROADS: The Greenway has problems which must be solved. We must have a way to reduce tolls while ensuring the long-term viability of this vital corridor. Chuck will work with state and community leaders to ensure all roads are safe and that VDOT is responsive.

PRESERVING OUR AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE: Whether a large land owner or a small farmer, they should be allowed to operate with a minimum of government interference. Chuck will work to protect conservation and agricultural easements, while working toward smart growth.

PROTECTING OUR SENIORS: Chuck will be a voice for our seniors and an advocate for livable communities.

PROMOTING ALL-DAY KINDERGARTEN: Chuck supports expanding all-day kindergarten throughout Loudoun County to ensure all our kids have a strong start to life and access to a quality education.[2][3]
