Campaign themes

  • Budget Taxes and Jobs

Excerpt: "I have become convinced over the years that we are never in financial trouble because we tax too little, but that we simply spend too much. Even here in Virginia, the never ending appetite for more government has been a difficult trend to stop."

Excerpt: "But reducing spending is only one side of the coin. We must be a pro-business, pro-growth state that invites job-creating businesses to come to Virginia."

  • Transportation

Excerpt: "Not only will I work to increase spending levels dedicated to road improvement and lower the levels dictated to new mass transit projects, I will work hard to increase the funding for transportation coming “back” to Northern Virginia, which historically has been under 50 cents on the tax dollar sent to Richmond from our area."

  • Schools

Excerpt: "There is no “one size fits all” solution, but the creation of voucher and tax incentives methods that support a parent’s decision to send their child to alternative schools such as charter or private school, and home-schooling tax credits, will be a major concern of mine, if I’m elected as your new delegate."

  • Pro-Life and Family

Excerpt: "I am 100% Pro-Life."

  • Second Amendment

Excerpt: "The Castle Doctrine is an American legal doctrine that designates one’s home, one’s car or place of work as a place in which one enjoys refuge from illegal trespass or violent attack. As such it gives one the legal right to use deadly force to defend that place. The Castle Doctrine is not currently the law of Virginia and I will work to make it law."

  • Other

Excerpt: "I support the rule of law."
