John Harkins (Connecticut)
John Harkins is a former Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 120 from 1996 to 2009. He resigned after being elected mayor of Stratford. He served as assistant minority leader.
Biography
Harkins' professional experience includes owning Harkins Appraisal Service.
He is a member of the Connecticut Aerospace Hall of Fame and Museum Board of Directors, the Stratford Visiting Nursing Association Board of Directors, the Oversight and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Stratford Rotary Club, and is Connecticut chair of the American Legislative Exchange Council.[1]
