John Stripp
John Stripp is a former Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 135 from 1993 to 2011. He served as assistant House minority leader from 2003 to 2011.
Biography
Stripp's professional experience includes working as a manufacturing executive with AMF, vice president of the Bank of Westport, automation division general manager for Branson Ultra Sonic, commercial real estate broker, manufacturing executive with the Condec Corporation, and owner of a health food store.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Stripp won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 135th District, defeating Remy Chevalier (G). Stripp received 8,139 votes in the election while Chevalier received 1,782 votes.[2] Stripp raised $17,846 for his campaign.[3]
