- All Iowans deserve access to affordable healthcare. The failure of the privatized Medicaid system must be fixed.
- Iowa must act now to address the climate crisis. We must work to create a sustainable, healthy environment.
- Iowa must restore its commitment to strong public schools to ensure our future social and economic prosperity.
In addition to policy issues, we need to take care of our system of government. First, we need to ensure that every voter is able to vote safely and that every vote is counted. Our vote by mail system must be strengthened and voter suppression efforts must be ended. Second, Iowans must have access to the political process so they can learn and understand the policies being made that effect their lives every day. The legislative process should be open, deliberative, and allow adequate time for public input.
