I am a hard-working middle-class Native Californian who wants a better future for all Californians.

I am dedicated to being the voice for each and every individual I intend to represent, by advancing positive changes that benefit our present and future generations.

  • Using common sense and critical thinking skills to resolve issues in a caring and competent manner.
  • I intend to reform laws and policies that cause discrepancies.
  • I will bring my integrity and values to represent the people of California and lead by example.
The utmost issues that are most concerning to me are homelessness, taxes, and high utility prices.
Studying the history of America and understanding the determination of the forefathers who escaped a tyrannical government to go to a new land where they were able to see a peaceful future is the foundation of the principles of America today. Their discovery of a new land of hopes and dreams was exactly what they had envisioned in comparison to their experience with a large and overreaching government. In developing this new land of freedom, their ingenuity to create a written law of the land known as the U.S. Constitution was to guarantee a government just big enough to protect its citizens from foreign and domestic enemies and to guarantee the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I use the U.S. Constitution in its entirety as a theory to define my principles, laws to define my actions with others in collaboration, and to uphold my values and honor to be a positive leader as Lieutenant Governor of the State of California.
One of the most important elements about me is values, connecting with people by understanding your point of view, and utilizing my skills and knowledge to resolve negative issues in our communities. I am mindful of all the challenges and current issues that we must address. I am also committed to being a positive leader to bring a better future for Californians. Bringing my experience in fire fighting, Emergency, and Mental health care, and as a Realtor to know how to relate each issue to the correct resource. Also living and working hard my whole life as a Native Californian brings realistic experience to the challenges in life in general.
To uphold the oath of office. The oath of office is an important element to show the voters of California my oath to them, to uphold the U.S. Constitution, to uphold the Constitution of the State of California, to protect all from foreign and domestic enemies, and that I will make all of my decisions to the best of my knowledge in regards to favorable results for the people of California.
My favorite book is "The U.S. Constitution And Other Writings". This book illustrates the many elements of American history from Benjamin Franklin's "Silence Dogood" letters regarding issues in the community he wrote anonymously to his brother's newspaper (1722), many presidential speeches, the Federalist Papers (1787-88), the United States Bill of Rights (1791), and the Civil Rights Act (1964). These are all important elements for a successful leader to know.
Being in the top executive position in California is a very important position. In this position, all my personal and professional conduct as a leader must be sustained. This includes all legislative acts that need a thorough review to consider the positive or negative effects of a vote prior to ratification.
Line-item vetoes are permitted in California. I find line-item vetos very important to eliminate excess spending and to veto irrelevant elements and “earmarks” for all bills. Circumventing each bill is an irresponsible spending practice. The body of each bill should be relevant to each bill title and be within reasonable spending for each bill or proposition.
I believe there should be a cordial relationship between the governor and legislature to keep opinions and ideas for each bill available. This would also keep a network open for proposed bills and propositions.
California’s greatest challenge in the next decade is to lower the cost of living, lower taxes for living and business expenses, a better water infrastructure, and an education curriculum that teaches students critical thinking skills, the complete history of California and the U.S.A., and civics.
