The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 20, 2014. Elias McGraw was defeated by Chrystal Butterfield in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Eric Hutchings was unopposed in the Republican convention. Hutchings defeated Butterfield in the general election. David Howick (R) withdrew.[1][2]
