Campaign website
Ireson's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
FIRST Well-rounded school meals ...so that our kids are prepared to excel in their studies. I'll ensure that we're setting our kids up for success with nutritious meals that prepare them to be focused on their schoolwork. SECOND Equitable internet access We're leaving our rural communities behind by not investing in our basic infrastructure. These days, infrastructure doesn't just mean roads and bridges: it's internet and access to healthcare. Our kids should be able to come home from school, and get online to doing their homework, take a test, or apply for college. THIRD Promoting opportunities in the ag industry The next generation of Texans need to know the massive opportunity that lies within agriculture. It's a massive part of the state economy, and we should support our kids to get involved. They don't have to leave their hometown and move to the big city just to get a good job.[2] |
