She served on the Madison County Board from 2010-2018, serving as the chairwoman of the Finance Committee for two years, and was on the Collinsville City Council from 2007-2010. Lisa Ciampoli enjoys volunteering with her daughter at local no-kill pet rescue centers.
Lisa is a proud supporter of Second Amendment rights and has been endorsed by the NRA. She is also a strong advocate for job creation and has been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business and the Associated Builders and Contractors.
- While on the Madison County Board, Lisa Ciampoli cut property taxes and reduced county spending. Lisa will take that same attitude to Springfield and fight for real property tax relief and work to balance Illinois' budget and get the State's fiscal house in order.
- Lisa Ciampoli will stand against corruption that has engulfed the Illinois Statehouse. Lisa supports ethics reform, including term limits, prohibiting lawmakers from serving as lobbyist, and better public disclosure laws.
- Lisa Ciampoli will be a strong advocate for job creation. Illinois is losing residents at a rapid pace and can no longer afford to do so. The General Assembly must work to make Illinois a more attractive state for businesses by lowering taxes and reducing regulations.
I also believe that we must do more in Illinois to attract and keep businesses in our communities. We are losing families and businesses at record levels due to the high cost of living in Illinois. I will work to reduce taxes and regulations so that it is easier for families and businesses to stay and thrive here.
