Oswald Parada
Oswald Parada was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He was appointed to this position on January 20, 2006.[1] His eight-year term ended in 2014.[2]
Education
Parada received his B.A. degree from the California State University at Fullerton in 1987 and his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in 1990.[1]
Career
Parada began his career in 1991 as a staff attorney for El Rescate Legal Services. Later that year, he became a deputy federal public defender in the federal public defender’s office for the Central District of California. He worked there until he was appointed to the district court in 2006. From 1995 to 2006, he was the directing attorney of that office.[1]
