Biography
Quatina Frazer earned an associate degree from Middlesex Community College in 2008, a bachelor's degree from Charter Oak State College in 2011, and a graduate degree from Wesleyan University in 2020.[1]

|In 2019, she designed a free series open to the community called "Building Community Workshops" where speakers touched on topics such as mentorship, homeownership, running for office, and getting out of debt. Personally, and professionally, Quatina has been involved with various organizations and is currently serving as a union steward, further demonstrating her commitment to help improve the quality of community life. She was also a former alternate commissioner of the Middletown Planning and Zoning Commission.
- I believe that I offer a unique perspective from a variety of experiences. I am a woman of color who was a teen mother, a single and divorced mother, and who currently serves in ministry as an elder in my local church. I’m a life-long learner and have served in ministry for close to two decades.
- I seek to be a voice at the State Capitol that seeks to aim for change. I want to create, support, and advocate for legislation that is both fiscally responsible and beneficial for our town.
- Operating with grit and determination, I have overcome many challenges and have achieved many successes. I desire to use that same level of grit and determination if elected to office to represent the constituents of my district and state.
I have gone from little to no income to middle income and I feel in touch with issues affecting the everyday lives of individuals and families. The cost of healthcare, high taxes, out of control inflation, the state of the education system, right to life, and access to affordable housing are all issues that I care about.
