Lisa Grafstein (Democratic Party) is a member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 13. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Grafstein (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the North Carolina State Senate to represent District 13. The Democratic primary for this office on March 3, 2026, was canceled.
Biography
Lisa Grafstein was born in Amityville, New York. Grafstein earned a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in 1988 and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1995. Her career experience includes working as a lawyer at Disability Rights North Carolina and the Law Office of Lisa Grafstein, PLLC. Grafstein has also worked for the North Carolina State Personnel Commission.[1]
