Michele Brooks (Republican Party) is a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 50. She assumed office on December 1, 2014. Her current term ends on November 30, 2026.

Brooks (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Pennsylvania State Senate to represent District 50. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Brooks served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 17 from 2007 to 2014. Brooks served as a member of the Mercer County Board of Commissioners. From 1996 to 2002, she served on the Jamestown Borough Council.

Biography

Brooks graduated from the Anne Anstine Excellence in Public Services Series. Her professional experience includes being the co-founder and Vice President of Jamestown Future Foundation.

Elections for the Pennsylvania State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in that election was March 11, 2014. Michael Muha was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Michele Brooks defeated Jane Macpherson-Mrozek and Greg Lucas in the Republican primary. Brooks defeated Muha in the general election.[1][2]
