A longtime Republican activist and organizer, I serve as a precinct committeeman, previously served as a Deputy State Central Committeeman for the ILGOP, and am a director of a local PAC. I'm a faithful donor, a hands-on volunteer recruiter and trainer, and a known presence at community events — always focused on results, not rhetoric. Professionally, I bring real-world experience in finance and business, which I use to promote accountability and smart budgeting. Most recently, I was elected LaSalle City Clerk — a role I accepted in order to serve my neighbors and keep city government working for the people who live and work here.
  • Affordability. The 76th District’s top issue is the same throughout the state: the ever-increasing cost of living in Illinois. High taxes and increased government red tape drive people to leave the state. Illinois is losing young families who struggle to put food on the table and retirees whose retirement savings are not adequate to pay the bills. It is well past time to eliminate unnecessary spending from the state budget so Illinois becomes an affordable place to live. This will require creativity and a willingness to work across the aisle to get the results taxpayers deserve.
  • Public Safety. Keeping our communities safe by supporting law enforcement, holding violent offenders accountable, and ensuring victims’ rights are protected is a top priority. Public safety policies should be focused on results—not ideology—so families feel secure in their neighborhoods and businesses can thrive
  • Healthcare Accessibility. With the closings of two local hospitals and a recent reduction in services at another, access to healthcare in the 76th has become increasingly limited. These events have made me hyper-aware of how quickly rural healthcare can change, and I am running for State Representative to do all I can to prevent healthcare deserts in this district and throughout the state. This life-and-death issue demands a relentless approach to advocate for affordable, accessible healthcare throughout the region. I would support legislation to address the issues with healthcare disparities in Illinois, and I would fight to ensure each family can rely on nearby quality care for emergency services, routine care, and everything in between.
In addition to policy related to affordable living, public safety, and accessible healthcare, I am passionate about education. A quality education is one of the finest gifts we can give our children and is also an investment in our community's future.

Growing up in Illinois and raising my family here, the values that were important in our household included service, integrity, respect, and standing up for what is right. Professionally, I've been in banking and finance and have aided start-ups to success. I've contributed to our community, especially in schools and the arts.
  • Illinois needs to thrive economically to preserve the freedoms we all value. We must get property taxes under control, lower inflation and bring down the cost of living for families. I would start by working to limit unfunded mandates that push costs down to the counties which then increase property taxes to pay for them. If we can get property taxes under control, we can lower inflation & the cost of living for families.
  • I will fight for affordable, accessible healthcare. The recent closings of two hospitals in our district have taught us some very hard lessons. I will support legislation to address healthcare disparities, and I will fight to ensure that our community’s healthcare needs are met.
  • Illinoisans need to be able to afford electricity bills. With the ban on the construction of nuclear power plants recently lifted, we have an opportunity to have affordable energy and the good paying jobs that will accompany it. We must also support wind and solar so that there is balance in the energy sector.
Representing the residents in the district where elected.
The 1969 moon landing - “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” I was nine.
