Kurt Odenwald
Kurt S. Odenwald was a judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. He assumed office in 2007. He left office on November 16, 2024.
Odenwald ran for re-election for judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
Odenwald was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals in October 2007 by Governor Matt Blunt (R). He was retained in 2008 and 2020.[1]
Odenwald was elected chief judge by his peers to a one-year term that began on July 1, 2011, and ended on June 30, 2012.[2]

Judge Odenwald was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his B.A. from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law.[1]
Career
Judge Odenwald has worked as an attorney in private practice, a staff attorney for the St. Louis Office of Public Defender, and associate general counsel for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. He was appointed to the court of appeals in 2007.[1]
