Kenneth Romines
Kenneth Romines was a judge on the Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this position by Governor Blunt in 2005.[1] He was retained by voters in 2006.[2][3] Romines stepped down at the end of his term in August 2012, due to the mandatory retirement age in the state.[4]
Education
Romines earned a B.A. degree from William Jewell College and a J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. [1]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Romines worked as a law clerk on the Mississippi Supreme Court, an assistant Missouri attorney general, and a private practice lawyer. He was appointed as a circuit judge for St. Louis County (6th Judicial District) in 1987 by Governor Aschcroft and he held this position until his appointment to the Missouri Court of Appeals.[1]
