Robin Hvidston, a California native, has been politically active for more than two decades. As your assemblymember she will put the citizens of California first.

She is a person of action and has lobbied state legislators as well as local district offices as an advocate for American workers, veterans, and homeless American families. She has appeared on local and national television stations, including CNN and Fox News, as a reform advocate for securing the United States border. She is a frequent guest on radio programs such as Talkback with Chuck Wilder. Currently, Hvidston partners with organizations and grass roots activists statewide and advocates that unemployed American workers, homeless American families and veterans be the focus of state legislation.
I support law enforcement and the promotion of a secure border. Our citizens and our American workers should be our first priority. Homeless Americans and disabled Americans should be the focus of legislation to assist them to a better life.
The book that comes to mind first is the Bible. The principles and values for a healthy life are there for members of society to read and to follow in the Bible.
Listening to the constituents and representing them in Sacramento. Transparency is of the utmost importance.
I will listen to the constituents and seek to implement policies and legislation that represent them.
Following the U.S. Constitution and the State Constitution.
That I improved the lives of the constituents in the district. Listen to the people and bring forward change that will benefit them.
The lower house, the assembly, is closer to the people. The districts are smaller than the upper house and the election is more frequent, every 2 years. Because it is more accessible to the people I find it to be the most relevant of the legislative chambers.
I think it is helpful but not necessary. If you listen to the constituents and seek to enact legislation that reflects the constituents experience within the government is not required.
The over regulated and over taxed business environment in California is one of the greatest challenges in California. I would seek to lower taxes and to change California to a stated that is welcoming to the business community. Securing the border should be a number on priority as well as the repealing of the Sanctuary State Law. American citizens should come first in the legislative process.
A governor who will work with and listen to the state legislature.
Building a relationship with other legislators is the key element to getting the work of the people done.
I would seek to be on the public safety committee as well as the appropriations committee.
I have heard from moms and dads. A mom of a young child claimed that after vaccination, the child's health declined dramatically. Vaccinations should be required in our state but if a parent chooses to opt out because of the health of a child, that choice should be available. I have also heard from constituents who want help for their disabled family members. This should be a top priority. Repealing the Sanctuary State law is an issue that I will work on immediately. Other constituents have stated that if proposition 13 is repealed they will lose their homes. A constituent said he seeks to build the border and secure the border to stop the drugs smuggling, which would improve the drug addiction that results in homelessness. Constituents are very worried about crime and want criminals brought to justice.
