Doug Jones was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 10 of the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Jones is an employee of Dunlap & Kyle, Inc., a wholesale and retail tire dealer and serves as a volunteer firefighter in the town of Mt. Olivet.

Jones ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 10. He was defeated by Nolan Mettetal in the Republican primary on August 2, 2011. Democrat Greg Hodges won his party's nomination.
