Justin Barkley
Justin Barkley was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 46 of the Alabama House of Representatives.
Barkley was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 6th Congressional District of Alabama. Barkley withdrew on January 27, 2012.[1]
Biography
Barkley has practiced law at Johnston Barton Proctor & Rose, LLP, since 2006.[2]

Elections
2014
Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Pamela Blackmore-Jenkins, Steve French, Justin Barkley, and David Faulkner faced off in the Republican primary. Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, the top two vote-getters - French and Faulkner - were scheduled to meet in a runoff election. French withdrew from the runoff race on June 12, 2014, leaving Faulkner unopposed.[5] Faulkner was unchallenged in the general election.[6][7][8][9]
2012
Barkley initially declared as a candidate in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Alabama's 6th District, but he withdrew prior to the primary election.[1]
