Luke Forzley was born in Lakeland Florida on February 4th 1996. He graduated from High Point University in 2018 with a B.A. in physics and subsequently co-founded a small business to help new startups build their technology infrastructure and navigate the early stages of their business.
  • We must ease the burdens on families and small businesses in order to build a solid foundation from which Florida as a whole can grow and thrive.
  • Florida must take the lead in America’s development of new technologies as countless businesses flee from failing states like California to ones with more freedoms.
  • Floridians must be defended from overreaching government agencies aiming to trample on our constitutional rights and freedoms.
I’m interested in removing artificial roadblocks placed by the government that make life harder for the average person. Whether it be the right to keep and bear arms, running a business, or raising a family.
My first job was as an astrophysics tutor in college. From this role I’ve gained first hand experience in providing quality education to others.
Legislators and the governor should be working closely together to ensure the well being of the people of the state. However, ultimately it is important for the legislators to act as a check against the governor in instances of disagreement to uphold the principles of the constituents they represent.
As Florida grows rapidly it is necessary to ensure the people can afford to thrive with rising home prices and inflation, while bringing in as many businesses and hard working people fleeing more restrictive states for the freer and fairer Florida. Giving families and businesses alike the benefits to grow here is of the utmost importance.
Engrained politicians with a plethora of experience have a tendency to become sluggish and complacently comfortable in their position. Their experience has been shown to only benefit themselves in their efforts to maintain their lifestyle, rather than the constituents they represent.
Without proper coordination between other legislators it is impossible to accomplish specific policy goals with precision. Legislators with common goals must work closely with each other for the benefit of those they represent.
My concerns are with my constituents in Lake County, and ensuring that they have the best quality of life, opportunities, and freedoms. Ultimately, my ambitions are for a greater state and nation, and I aim to be a scalpel that targets and removes government inefficiency.
My first bill would create a property tax credit for families with children, providing meaningful relief to those who are building the foundation of our future. It’s necessary to ease the burden on hardworking families while investing in the long-term growth of our state.
