Patricia Alvarez (Democratic Party) was a judge for Place 3 of the Texas Fourth District Court of Appeals. She assumed office in 2013. She left office in 2024.

Education

Alvarez received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.[1]

Career

Before her elevation to the bench, Alvarez spent 25 years in private practice. She worked at the firms of Thornton, Summers, Biechlin, Dunham & Brown and Butler & Binion. She also established her own firm, The Alvarez Law Firm, P.C., where she worked until she was sworn in as judge on the Fourth Court of Appeals.[2]
