Restoring Safety and Accountability

Illinois families deserve safe neighborhoods and accountable leadership. I will fight to restore law and order, protect our communities, and hold leaders accountable for putting politics over public safety.

Empowering Families and Protecting Parental Rights

Families should be in control of their children’s education and well-being — not the government. I will advocate for parents’ rights, quality education, and policies that strengthen families rather than undermine them.

Fighting Fiscal Mismanagement and Tax Hikes

Illinoisans work hard to build their futures, but reckless spending and endless tax hikes are holding us back. I will push for fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, and smarter budgeting to put money back into your pockets.
I am deeply invested in fiscal responsibility and economic opportunity. Illinoisans are burdened by high taxes and government mismanagement. I will work to reduce wasteful spending, lower taxes, and create an economic environment where small businesses can thrive and families can build secure futures.
Integrity and moral fiber are the bedrock qualities that an elected official must possess to truly represent their constituents. Integrity means being honest, transparent, and accountable in every decision made, regardless of the political pressure or personal gain involved. It ensures that the official stays true to their promises and prioritizes the needs of the people they represent, not their own ambitions or interests.

Moral fiber goes hand-in-hand with integrity, reflecting the inner strength to make difficult decisions based on what is right, not what is easy. It involves having a clear sense of right and wrong, standing firm in the face of challenges, and being a beacon of ethical conduct for others to follow. These qualities build trust with the public, foster respect within the political arena, and are essential for making decisions that uphold the values and well-being of the community.

When an elected official demonstrates integrity and moral fiber, it cultivates a healthy, transparent, and responsive government where citizens can have confidence that their voices are being heard and their needs are being met with fairness and respect.
I believe my ingenuity and resourcefulness would make me a successful officeholder. I’m able to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex problems, which is essential for navigating the challenges that come with policymaking. My resourcefulness allows me to maximize available resources, whether it's building partnerships, addressing community concerns, or finding ways to solve problems efficiently. These qualities enable me to bring fresh perspectives and practical solutions to the table, always focused on achieving the best outcomes for the people I represent.
An elected official’s core responsibilities are to represent the people, make informed decisions, and advocate for their district or state. They must pass effective legislation, manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, and ensure that government resources are used wisely. They should be transparent, ethical, and maintain the public’s trust by avoiding conflicts of interest. Additionally, providing services to constituents and helping them navigate government programs is key. Above all, an official must foster unity, collaborate across party lines, and focus on what’s best for the community.
I'm particularly interested in the Education and the Workforce Committee, which focuses on education, workforce development, labor, and higher education policy. I’m passionate about advocating for policies that address the education gaps, support effective workforce development, and improve access to higher education. Additionally, the Small Business Committee interests me because I strongly believe in supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. It’s crucial to create an environment where small businesses can grow and thrive, free from excessive regulations. Both committees would allow me to advocate for meaningful change in these areas that impact families and the economy.

General election race ratings

See also: Race rating definitions and methods

Ballotpedia provides race ratings from four outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and DDHQ/The Hill. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:

  • Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
  • Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
  • Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[2]
  • Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.

Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[3][4][5]
