Thomas R. Wright is a judge on the Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals, which has jurisdiction over Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Portage, and Trumbull counties in Ohio. He was elected to the court in 2010 and assumed office on February 9, 2011. His current terms ends in 2017.[1]
Education
Wright received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the Ohio State University in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1991.[1][2]
Career
Before his election to the court, Wright spent his career working as an attorney in private practice.[1]
2010 election

Wright was elected to the Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals on November 2, 2010. He won the Democratic primary against Neil Wilson.[3] He defeated Eugene A. Lucci in the general election, winning 50.2% of the vote.[4]
