Elections for the Florida House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014. Jamie Shepard was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jay Trumbull defeated Melissa Hagan, Thelma G. Rohan and Norman Ray Bishop in the Republican primary. Trumbull defeated Shepard, Henry Newman Lawrence III (G) and Jerry Wyche (I) in the general election.[2][3] Ryan Jack Singleton (D) withdrew before the primary.[4]
