Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. James Haspas was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Daniela Garcia defeated Bob Harmsen, Geoff Haveman, Jim Holtrop and David Kroll in the Republican primary. Holtrop suspended his campaign before the primary due to "personal health issues." Garcia defeated Haspas in the general election.[3][4][5][1][2]
