Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[1] No Democratic candidates filed for election. Incumbent Gary Staples defeated Christopher S. Hodge and Mitchell Pitts in the Republican primary. Staples ran unchallenged in the District 88 general election.

Pitts ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 88, but lost to incumbent Gary Staples in the primary on August 2, 2011. Democratic candidate Jonathan Hodge and independent candidate Donald Holifield ran unopposed in the August 2 Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
