|Having seen the proper role of government slowly erode, and after years of political involvement and studying the solutions to restoring liberty, I am aptly prepared to represent my constituents and secure safeguards for their rights. Government exists to secure the rights and freedoms of all citizens, and I would drive a return to these basic concepts. My Pledge To You •Taxes -The ideal tax rate is 0.00%. Sound fiscal responsibility is needed, and the shrinking of government, not expansion. •1st Amendment Rights -Government has the solemn duty to defend. •Education -Works best when families and local communities are able to determine and control their children's education. •2nd Amendment -"Shall Not Be Infringed" •Private Property Rights -Guarantee the right to maintain, control and determine the use of one's property. •Pro-Life I am a successful business owner, understand the stress of making payroll every two weeks, and am not a career politician. I am results driven, and act toward solutions and not excuses.
I studied Biology and Kinesiology at the University of Utah, have volunteered with many organizations, and have the privilege of being married to a wonderful woman and having the joy of raising my five children.- I am running to represent YOU!
- I oppose new taxes, and specifically opposed the now famous December Tax Bill that our current representative supported.
- As a successful entrepreneur and small business owner, I am prepared to Fast-Track Utah's recovery from the effects of COVID-19.
Limited Government - Government's role is to protect life, liberty, and property.
Personal Liberty for All - To decide what is best for them, and to be free to choose to succeed or to fail. Citizens are the sole arbitrators of what is best for themselves so long as their actions do not infringe upon the liberty or property rights of others.
Private Property Rights - Guarantee the right to maintain, control and determine the use of one's property. A role of government is to defend and preserve property rights and uphold the rule of law.
Fiscal Accountability - Government can only provide that which it has first taken from the people, and therefore government programs and funding should be as minimal as possible for the government to perform its role.
Equal Protection - No group should receive favorable or unfavorable treatment from the government.
• I can and will be able to go back to the private sector with the confidence that I have a level of independence and there is no way in the world you can buy me.
