Ricardo Garcia was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the Indiana House of Representatives. Garcia was defeated by incumbent Earl L. Harris in the Democratic primary on May 8, 2012.[1]

Garcia ran in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 2. He ran against incumbent Earl L. Harris in the Democratic primary on May 8, 2012. No Republican candidates filed for the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

According to a May 4th article in the NWI Times, Garica faces incumbent Earl L. Harris in the Democratic primary. Harris has been held office in District 2 since 1982.[4] According to Garcia, "The representatives that are currently in office have taken us about as far as they can. I think it's time for my generation to start stepping up and taking the reins and begin laying a solid foundation for our future."[4]

Endorsements

The NWI Times endorsed Garcia in the District 2 race for Indiana House.[5] Garcia faces incumbent Earl L. Harris, who has been in office since 1982.[5]
