Wesley Ortell
Wesley Ortell was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 82 of the Indiana House of Representatives. Ortell was defeated by David Ober in the Republican primary on May 8, 2012.[1]
Wesley is a nine-year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150, and still works operating heavy equipment in the construction and pipeline industries.[2] Previously, Ortell served six years in the United States Army Reserve, eight years as a volunteer firefighter, performed Underwater Search and Recovery duties in Lake County, and served as a reserve officer with the Lagrange County Sheriff’s Department[2]

Ortell ran in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 82. Ortell, Mike Caywood, Denise Lemmon and David Ober ran in the Republican primary on May 8, 2012. David Ober won the Republican primary.[1] Mike Wilber ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
