Jay Fant
Jay Fant is a former Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 15 from 2014 to 2018. He did not seek re-election in 2018.
Fant (Republican) was a candidate for Attorney General of Florida. Fant withdrew from the race prior to the primary on August 28, 2018.
Biography
Fant's professional experience includes working as chairman, chief executive officer, and board member of First Guaranty Bank and Trust Company.[1]

Elections for the Florida House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014. Jay Fant defeated Paul M. Renner in the Republican primary and defeated Kerry Keith Kelley (I) in the general election. Calvin T. White (I) withdrew before the general election.[6][7]
