Diana L. Leyden is an Article I special trial judge for the United States Tax Court. She was appointed on March 24, 2016, and assumed office on June 20, 2016.[1][2]
The United States Tax Court is an Article I federal trial court established by Congress under Article I of the U.S. Constitution, Section 8 of which provides (in part) that the Congress has the power to "constitute Tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court."

Education
Leyden earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Union College in 1978 and a J.D. from the UConn Law School in 1982. She also obtained an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University in 1984.[2]
