William James
William James (1870-1940) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
He was nominated by President Warren Harding on March 2, 1923 to a new seat created by 42 Stat. 837. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 3rd, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on July 28, 1940.[1]
