The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Michael Cahill, incumbent Marcia Moody and Ella Walichnowska are unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Joshua Davenport and Adam Schroadter are unopposed in the Republican primary.[1]
