I am a father of four amazing children, engaged to my amazing fiancé, a student, and a member of IBEW Local #481. I'm from Indianapolis and have lived in House District 93 for three years. I have lived on the Southside of Indianapolis and in Greenwood off and on for the past 24 years. I work while going to college at IUPUI and take care of my family with my fiancé. We also attend mass at Saint Mark’s the Evangelist Catholic Church.
  • Champion of the Working Class
  • Fighter for Small Businesses and Farmers
  • Supporter of Public Education and Public Health and Safety
My platform is based on five pillars. I came to these after extensive discussions with the residents of House District 93 . As I walked around my community I met many incredible people that all had unique stories to tell and their own concerns to be voiced. My five policy priorities are based on my discussions with these residents and my own values and experiences.

1. Increase Educator Wages
2. Protect and Increase Workers Rights
3. Improve on and ensure that quality care is provided for our Seniors
4. Protect Indiana's Businesses and the community fabric that they create

5. Adequately funding Indiana's critical public health and safety agencies
There are so many people that I look up to. My great-great Uncle would be who I look up to the most. He has taught me so much in a short time. He is kind, thoughtful, and very smart about politics.
Being a trustworthy, honorable, person who puts the interests of your constituents first. Making sure that people you represent have their voices heard.
Hard worker, determined, and resilient. I will use these abilities to be the most effective pro working family legislator possible.
The legacy that I would like to leave is that there is nothing you cannot achieve if you put your best effort forward. Never believe that anything is out of reach.
The true first historical event that really stick with me was the 9-11 incident. I was working as a hod carrier and brick layer out in a field working on an entry wall sign to a new housing addition when we heard what had happened. We had a job site radio and that is how we heard the news that day.
My very first job was at the age of 9. My step father owned his own electric business and I started helping him at the age and of 9, although I did not receive any pay until I was 12. I would climb through attics and crawl spaces when I would go to work with him.
My biggest struggle in life was putting limitations on myself and what I could and could not do. It took me awhile to understand that I can be an elected official and still give the constituents the attention and service that they deserve and need regardless, of what I have going on.
The Senate should be considered an important body where careful deliberation is the standard course of action per any legislation coming on the floor. The House of Representatives is just as important, deliberation is key to arrive at what we think should be the common good.
I do, although that is not a key determinant on your ability to be an effective legislator. Having previous government experience can aid the procedural aspects of the position, but at the end of the day what matters most is how well you represent your constituents. After all, they are why you are there.
Lack of education, public infrastructure, and critical state agency funding. Additionally, Hoosiers ability to get quality healthcare are all challenges Indiana will face in the future. We can act now to start to address some of these and that action can start right in the House of Representatives.
The Chief Executive of the State is an incredibly important position. The governor should be enforcing our laws but dutifully and honorably. The legislature should seek to listen to the governor as the people has chosen as to who sits in that office. Therefore, we must listen and consider proposals from the executive. What is also important, however, is that although the governor is important the legislature will not fail to act if necessary or if the governor appears to be headed astray from the will of the public.
I do indeed. Building relationships with other legislators will be an important priority of mine while in office. My ability to build these relationships will allow me to build constructive coalitions of support for my worker and farmer friendly policy agenda.

Ways & Means
Yes. Wherever I can be most effective in implementing legislation that benefits working families, small businesses, teachers, and farmers.
While I do look up to several different legislators from my time as an intern with the 2019 Indiana General Assembly that helped shape me into a better leader, I hope to set my own examples for others to model after.
I have heard several stories that have impacted myself. I have heard stories from having to go back to work at the age of 72 because of losing their spouse and now not being able to survive on the income that was taken away. I've heard stories of small businesses having to close their doors after 25 years of business because of COVID-19. I've also heard witnessed an individual in a motorized wheelchair pinned against a telephone pole because of broken infrastructure. Each story has touched me and left a lasting impact on me personally.
