Brian Hawley (North Carolina)
Brian Hawley (Republican Party) ran for election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 53. He lost in the Republican primary on May 17, 2022.
Biography
Hawley earned his A.A. from Central Carolina Community College and his B.A. in political science and minor in history from Campbell University. He served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1995.
Hawley is a part of the following organizations: American Legion, VFW, COMBAT VTC Inc., Phi Delta Theta, and the Pi Gammu Mu International Honor Society.[1]

|Brian and Loru became parents to their twin son Joshua and daughter Hunter in 2001 and after a promotion with a local company they moved; calling Angier home for nearly sixteen years.
Brian has excelled in his college studies graduating with honors with an Associate in Arts and is seven semester hours away from completing his Bachelor's in Arts in Political Science and a Minor in History at Campbell University. He is scheduled to graduate December 2019. His focus for his Major has been Public Administration and Public Policy. During his time at Central Carolina and Campbell University Brian has been selected to the Dean's list every semester. His high-level academic accomplishments have led to his induction into the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society and the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science National Honor Society. Brian has remained extremely active supporting and participating in the Campbell University Student Veterans Club, Public Affairs Club, History Club, and College Republicans. Brian is also a member of Campbell University's Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and assists to fulfill their Philanthropy, ALS support, obligations volunteering to assist a local Angier resident.
Brian volunteers his time with many civic organizations and currently represents Campbell University's Student Veterans Club as a representative on the Harnett County Veterans Council.- Honest and transparent leader
