What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
“ | The reason I am running for office is to restore Citizen Democracy. Right now the focus is on special interests and big money. We need citizens involved to focus on their needs. I want to reengage people in our democracy and restore confidence in a government OF, By, and For the people. The three top priorities that I hear from citizens in my district are as follows:
1) Medicaid expansion and eventual Medicare for all 2) A healthy environment and protection of natural resources, including the Indian River Lagoon, Split Oak Forest, and rural preservation with matching state funds for local tax initiatives; Clean drinking water is a priority 3) Public money spent on public education! Less testing and more respect (and pay) for teachers[2][3] |

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
“ | Solar energy expansion and programs to encourage rooftop solar by removing legal impediments
I grew up on a farm in Iowa without running water, and now I live on the Space Coast with solar panels on the roof and an electric car in the driveway. Solar is a good investment and good for our environment. I want to help structure programs that will help spread solar to people of modest means so that they can enjoy the savings of these programs.Cite error: Invalid |
