Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[1] Kathy Sykes and Samuel Lee Begley defeated Tammy Cotton in the Democratic primary. Sykes defeated Begley in the August 25 primary runoff. James Perry was unopposed in the Republican primary. Sykes defeated Perry in the general election.
Incumbent James Evans withdrew from the primary and announced he would not seek re-election.
