Submitted Biography "Born in Hartford and raised in Canton, Connecticut. I am a graduate of Canton High School and an alum of the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran who served honorably in Iraq in 2003. I am a passionate Republican candidate running for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut. My journey began as a pre-9/11 war veteran who enlisted in 1999 while attending CCSU, driven by a strong sense of duty and service to his country. After an illustrious six-year tenure in the United States Marine Corps, where I served in the Iraqi theater, I transitioned out of the service but never wavered in my commitment. Promoting the ability of entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and making America thrive. Our nation requires all of us to reach for new opportunities. This is why I strongly support expanding apprenticeships to expand our labor force & oppose placing higher taxes & energy costs on our stressed small business owners

Commitment to the community they are elected to serve & adherence to their oath to protect preserve & defend our Constitution
I try to listen to the people who aren’t being listened to now. I also think I’m pretty tenacious and don’t give up easily
The core responsibilities are to pass a budget for the nation, approve or decline presidential appointments, enact laws that protect our citizens & our economy & represent our constituents These are all things I find the incumbent does poorly

Restoring a sense of pride & purpose to ordinary Americans. Together we can overcome our challenges from China, terrorism, the deficit & an open border. This will not happen so long as politicians in Washington continue to denigrate & marginalize so many of our citizens who seek only a better life for themselves & their neighbors
The traditions established by the men & women who previously served. Public servants who often took stands that were out of fashion but necessary to advance our nation. And the fact that we have relied on this body to act in a bipartisan manner
No. There’s too many career politicians in office now. We need more citizens from all walks of life to serve
It is necessary to prevent a narrow majority from advancing potentially harmful legislation
I have great respect for Tom Cotton. I like John Fetterman’s independence. I would like to emulate the appeal of Scott Brown. And I’d like to be as effective in delivering for my constituents as “Senator Pothole” Al D’Amato But I hope to be as respected as the late Joe Lieberman
Will they follow the Constitution?

Are they qualified & a person of good judgment & character? Will they consider the impact on public safety of their decisions?

Will they abstain from legislating from the bench
I want to work with every Senator. I think as a Republican from New England and someone from a blue collar background I have an unique opportunity to build new & productive alliances

Ballotpedia provides race ratings from four outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and DDHQ/The Hill. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:

  • Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
  • Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
  • Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[2]
  • Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.

Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[3][4][5]
