I was born and raised in Nashua, NH until I moved to Amherst in 2014. During my education at Souhegan High School, I learned the importance of service to the community and giving back. That is why I ran for Souhegan Cooperative School Board (SCSB) in March 2020. While meeting people in our community I heard of the many issues facing not only our school but our town. Democrat or Republican, rich or poor, retired or employed, I heard many of the same problems, high property taxes that gouge the working people and force the retired from their homes, lackluster education funding that leads to random power outages and rundown facilities in desperate need of repair, and the fear of overdevelopment. Together we can solve these problems and ensure a better future for Amherst. I am grateful for the opportunities Amherst has given me and I hope to give back and serve my community.
Electoral Reform. We must fix our democracy and end the hyperpartisanship of our current system before we can even start to work on the other issues facing our state. Too many times we are asked to vote against what we hate rather than for something we believe in. We need to be able to have a civil discourse that leads to pragmatic and practical solutions to the problems we all face. That is how we achieve meaningful progress.
I look up to my grandfather because he is a man of reason. He wasn't interested in political parties, he would always listen to all sides and form his own opinion. He knows how to be objective and fair in his assessments. He is a very patient and understanding man who would give you his honest opinion. He never judged people based on their looks, their background, or anything except for their character.
In the case of New Hampshire, we are one of the only states that have a part-time citizen legislature and not a full-time career politician legislature. I believe being an active member of your community is experience enough to represent the members of it.
The greatest challenge facing New Hampshire in the next decade is our ability to retain a young and vibrant workforce to take care of the needs of our rapidly aging population. We need to ensure that young people in our states have the opportunities to succeed and thrive in our communities whether it be through affordable housing and property taxes, improved education, and better infrastructure.
I would like to join the Election Law Committee as electoral reform is one of my top priorities to fix the granite state.

Scorecards

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
