John Bohanan, Jr.
John L. Bohanan, Jr. (b. September 12, 1958) is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 29B from his appointment to the chamber on December 16, 1999, to January 14, 2015. He served as Deputy Majority Whip from 2003 to 2007.
Biography
Bohanan's professional experience includes working as Senior Advisor to U.S. Representative Steny H. Hoyer, District Director, Project Analyst/Operations Manager with SFA, Incorporated, Senior Staff member of Tracor Applied Sciences Incorporated, and legislative assistant to U.S. Representative Roy P. Dyson.

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent John Bohanan was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Deb Rey was unopposed in the Republican primary. Bohanan was defeated by Rey in the general election.[1][2][3]
