Randolph Truitt
Randolph Truitt is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 26 from 2008 to 2016.
Truitt did not seek re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2016.[1]
Biography
Truitt's professional experience includes working as Partner/President of Main Street Management LLC and Vice President of Business Development with Mennen Gutwein LLC.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Randy Truitt was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[6][7]

Truitt won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 26. Truitt ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated Rick Cornstuble (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]

Truitt defeated Democratic candidate Paul Roales and Independent candidate James Hass with 8,960 votes; Roales received 5,129 votes and Hass received 93 votes.[10]

On November 4, 2008, Republican Randolph Truitt won election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 26 receiving 14,023 votes, ahead of Democrat John S. Polles who received 14,049 votes.[12]

Truitt is a member of a number of organizations, including Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Wabash Valley, Covenant Presbyterian Church, John Purdue Club, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Purdue Club of Tippecanoe County, Theta Chi Fraternity, United Way of Greater Lafayette and Preservation Young Men's Christian Association.[13]
