Arnold Rapoport was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Rapoport passed away on November 29, 2014.[1]

Education

Rapoport earned his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College and his J.D. from Temple University Law School.[1]

Professional career

Prior to joining the court, Rapoport was an attorney in private practice.[1]

Judicial career

Eastern District of Pennsylvania, magistrate

Rapoport was appointed to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as a part-time federal magistrate judge in 1975. In 1992, he was elevated to full-time status on the court. He served on the court until 2007.[1]
