Charles Seymore
Charles W. Seymore is a judge on the Texas Fourteenth District Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position on November 7, 2000. He was then re-elected on November 7, 2006[1] and served until December 31, 2012.[2][3]
Education
Seymore received his B.A from Southern Nazarene University in 1972 and an M.A in Public Administration studies from North Texas State University in 1976. Seymore earned his law degree from the University of Houston in 1983.[4]
Career
Justice Seymore began his legal career in 1983 as an associate with Mike Phillips & Associates. In 1985, he started Charles Seymore & Associates. He then worked as a partner in the firm Neel & Seymore from 1989 until 1992, when Price and Livingston joined and the firm was renamed Neel, Seymore, Price & Livingston. In 1994, he left this firm and started his own Charles Seymore & Associates again. He worked in this capacity until 2000, when he was elected to the Court of Appeals.[4]
