Morton Denlow
Morton Denlow was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed to this position on March 1, 1996.[1]
Education
Judge Denlow received his A.B. degree in economics from Washington University in 1969 and his law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in 1972.[1]
Career
Judge Denlow began his career in 1971 with the law firm of D'Ancona & Pflaum. He worked there as a law clerk and associate until 1977, when he joined the firm of Rosenthal & Schanfield. In 1979, he became a partner of the firm Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. and in 1984, he left to become a partner of the firm Dardick & Denlow. He returned to Sachnoff & Weaver in 1993, working as Counsel for this firm until 1996. In addition to his law practice, he was an arbitrator and mediator for over 10 years. In 1995 and 1996, he worked as the Director of Professional Services for the Chicago branch of JAMS/Endispute. He became a magistrate judge in 1996.[1]
