Kenneth V. Desmond, Jr. is an associate justice on the Massachusetts Appeals Court.[1] He was appointed to this court in July 2016 by Republican Governor Charlie Baker. His term expires when he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.

Desmond was previously a justice on the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[2] He was nominated to this court by former Governor Deval Patrick on November 26, 2012, to succeed Elizabeth B. Donovan, and his nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council, by a vote of 5-1, on December 19, 2012.[3]

Education

Desmond received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 1985 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1990.[3]
