  • I want to bring new leadership to our state and the nation. Being a leader is more than giving commands. Being a leader means to inspire and coordinate the people along with being a role model. A leader is powerless without people following them. A leader needs to earn respect, and I am starting with earning that respect by running for State Representative for my district. Furthermore, being a leader does not mean being a puppet for someone else. I am Adam Mann, and I will be representing the people of House District 63, not any other entity.
  • The past several years, the focus of campaigning has been hate. Hate may drive people to act, but hate can cause people to jump to conclusions and make very bad decisions. Hate is a poison pill. Many have voted out of hate for a rival, hate for a policy because a label was attached to it. Most of our political labels are meaningless because parties and ideas evolve over time. We need to drop the labels and judge by characteristics. Politics is not a 1 dimensional field. Everyone here wants to live a harmonious life with less bad stress and more accomplishment. We the people need to place people before tertiary governing entities like corporations.
  • I govern with responsibility. The Laws of Man are only as good as man is willing to enforce them and is capable to enforce them. For every give, there is a take. For every take, there is a give. Matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Actions have consequences. Money is relative, and taxing and regulation can keep it under control. I am a troubleshooter and problem solver. I don't care for general philosophies and ideologies, as the common solution may be a mixture of elements. I want a functional government with proper checks and balances. Regulations exist because profiteers will be cheap, and we the people cannot afford a relatively cheap house if it can be blown down by a common wind storm.
My passion is as an artisan, an engineer. I want to make the system work. I want all systems working properly. As such, I am open to all areas of public policy. The actions of one public policy in one area can impact another area. I understand the plight of farmers, transportation issues, utility costs, communication, privacy, education, armaments ownership and responsibilities, economics, technology, science, capitalism, infrastructure, medical, and more. What I don't want is harmful exploitation of our laws for personal gain while leaving others to suffer. We need to restore banking regulations and shrink the ivory towers. I want a nation of the people that properly represents the will of the people.
